Planning your visit

Pre Camp Planning 

• A DEEC coordinator will organise a planning meeting via Teams with you​ to draft your program and to support you with notes, paperwork, questions and budget.
• After showing your students our information video or PowerPoint presentation, your DEEC camp coordinator would be happy to meet your students via Teams to answer any questions that they may have about camp. ​​​​

Camp budgeting

• Costs and fees - please use our Cost Cal​culator 
• Organise transportation ​to and from DEEC​

Staffing

• Consider accompanying adults (special needs support, adult/gender ratios, first aid qualified staff and ability to participate). ​
  
• Arrange a meeting with accompanying adults (parents/ carers) to discuss expectations and distribute:

  • Activity and Medical Consent - ADULTS
  • Climbing Risk Acknoweldgement - ADULTS​​

Medications

• Ensure you understand what is required for Administering Medications on your school ca​mp.  Refer to the DOE Policy and Procedure Register administration-of-medications-in-schools-procedure
• Collect IHP, EHP, AP, BMP etc. (​email with alert list - bring colour version with you)​
