Pre camp school visit (PCSV)​

• DEEC staff organise a PCSV with you​ to draft your program, support with notes and budget.​

Camp budgeting

• Costs and fees - please use our Cost Cal​culator 
• Organise transportation ​to and from DEEC​

Staffing

• Consider accompanying adults (special needs support, adult/gender ratios, First Aid qualified staff and ability to participate). ​
  
• Arrange a meeting with accompanying adults to discuss expectations and distribute: 

  • Accompanying Adult Brochure, 
  • Medical Form & Informed Consent ADULTS,
    
  • Top Rope Climbing Handbook​​ (if climbing)​​​

Consent

• ​Review Curriculum Activity Risk Assessments (CARAs) ​
  
• Review Access and Environmental Considerations for People with​ Disabilities

Medications

• Ensure you understand what is required for Administering Medications on your school ca​mp.  Refer to the DOE Policy and Procedure Register administration-of-medications-in-schools-procedure
• Collect IHP, EHP, AP, BMP etc. (​email with alert list - bring colour version with you)​
